SPITFIRE AN-T Tunisia 1943 (Eng)

1/72 scale diorama

Subjects and location

I started the realization of this 1/72 scale diorama starting from an easy to build Airfix kit of the Spitfire Mk V code AN-T Serial number BR195 flew by Lieutenant WH Pentland, of No 417 Squadron, Royal Canadian Air Force, stationed in Goubrine in Tunisia in 1943, placing it on a specially made base measuring 30 x 25 cm, on which a tent of the type used by the RCAF staff was self-built.

A refueling truck of the AEC Matador type, Airfix kit will be placed further.

In addition, the pilot figure will be made in the cockpit and some others of the ground staff, near the tent.

In the slider below, the images of the work in progress will be added as you go, so that you can easily follow them until the diorama is completed.

The military truck, AEC Matador, in the refueling tanker version, is one of the most used means of the RAF.
