Mi sono riproposto di realizzare in scala 1:72 questo famoso FIAT G 50, appartenente al C.A.I. Corpo Aereo Italiano, partecipante alla Battaglia d'inghilterra insieme ai ben più agguerriti stormi tedeschi.

Sulla storia del velivolo della Squadriglia e del suo pilota mi dilungherò al momento della sua realizzazione. Intanto ho ridisegnato le relative decalcomanie, dal  momento che quelle del kit in mio possesso, un vetusto Aitfix, erano "naturalmente" ingiallite.

I set out to make this famous FIAT G 50 on a 1:72 scale, belonging to the C.A.I. Italian Air Corps, participating in the Battle of England together with the much more aggressive German flocks.

I will dwell on the history of the squadron aircraft and its pilot at the time of its construction. Meanwhile I redesigned the relative decals, since those of the kit in my possession, an ancient Aitfix, were "naturally" yellowed.
